Edwin Johnson was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Northern Georgia. He began painting as a teenager and followed a traditional primitive stlye. After living in California, and traveling through Canada, Ed settled in the Missouri Ozarks where he has made his home. He built a cabin/art studio in the woods where he continues to study art. |
| Ed Johnson received a B.A. in Art and a B.S. in Education from Missouri Southern State College at Joplin, MO, in 1987. Ed pursues many interests including painting, printmaking, composing music, writing children's stories, jewelry, astronomy, photography, and sculpture. |
